Terms of Service

Please read these Terms carefully. By using Alrawidream, you agree to be bound by the following policies.

1. ACCEPTANCE OF TERMS

By accessing, downloading, registering for, or using Alrawidream, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service, our Privacy Policy, and the community conduct rules in these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the service.

  • These Terms form a binding legal agreement between you and Alrawidream.
  • We may update these Terms from time to time; continued use after changes constitutes acceptance.
  • You must use the service in compliance with all applicable local, national, and international laws. Community conduct rules are set out in these Terms (including Section 5); there is no separate Community Guidelines page.

2. SERVICE DESCRIPTION & LICENSE

Alrawidream is a free, peer-to-peer social platform for sharing, journaling, and discussing personal dreams and creative writing.

  • License: We grant you a revocable, non-exclusive, limited license to use Alrawidream strictly for personal, non-commercial entertainment and creative writing purposes. Alrawidream is a web service you may access on compatible browsers across devices (including phones, tablets, and computers). It is not limited to iOS.
  • Free Service & 'AS IS' Basis: The service is provided free of charge on an 'AS IS' and 'AS AVAILABLE' basis, and you voluntarily assume all risks associated with your use. Because Alrawidream is free and charges no fees, every feature, function, virtual item, Moon Ticket, credit, boost, rank, progress, and other in-app benefit is a revocable privilege — not your property and not a purchased right. We may modify, reduce, reset, reclaim, or remove any of them, and we may suspend, interrupt, or permanently stop operating the App or any part of it, at any time, for any reason or no reason, without prior notice to you, to other users, or to any third party, and without liability or compensation, to the maximum extent permitted by law.
  • Feature Changes: We reserve the right to modify, suspend, or discontinue features at any time without notice.
  • Translation: The translation feature is an automated language conversion tool designed solely to assist users in reading posts across different languages. Alrawidream does not provide dream interpretation, psychological advice, or opinions on user content.

3. ACCOUNT ELIGIBILITY & REGISTRATION

Accounts are provided for individual use only. You are responsible for all activity that occurs under your account.

  • Minimum Age: You must be at least 18 years old to create an account or use Alrawidream. Completing Sign Up or continuing with Google — including the required on-screen confirmation that you are 18 or older and agreement to these Terms and the Privacy Policy — means you confirm that you are 18 or older. We store the time of that confirmation, the email used at that time, and the signup IP when available. That record shows you completed the confirmation; it is not identity or age verification.
  • Users Under 18: Anyone under 18 is strictly prohibited from creating an account, using the service, or providing personal information. Alrawidream does not offer parental-consent access for under-18 users. We will not send a sign-up confirmation email, and Continue with Google stays locked, unless that 18+ confirmation and Terms/Privacy agreement are completed.
  • False Information: You are solely responsible for the accuracy of your registration information, including your age. If you misrepresent your age or other details, you bear all resulting responsibility. Alrawidream may terminate the account and delete associated data without notice if we reasonably believe you are under 18.
  • Accurate Information: You warrant that all registration information, including age, is accurate and truthful.
  • Confidentiality: You are responsible for keeping your credentials secure. Real email addresses are never displayed publicly; public feeds show only your custom Nickname or 'Anonymous'. Each public display name may be used by only one account (compared without regard to capitalization or extra spaces). Changing your nickname to a name already in use is refused. In-app Moon Ticket gifts by display name go to that unique account.
  • One Person, Fair Use: Accounts are for individual use. You may not create or operate accounts in bulk, by automation, scripts, device farms, or rotating networks in order to evade limits, bans, or freezes.
  • Account Deletion: You may permanently delete your account and authentication data at any time via the User Profile screen or by contacting alrawidream@icloud.com.

4. RATE LIMITS, FEATURE PAUSES, SIGN-UP CAPS & ACCOUNT FREEZES

To reduce automated abuse, credential stuffing, spam accounts, and ticket fraud, Alrawidream applies automated technical limits. These are security and platform-integrity controls, not content-moderation strikes. They may affect you even if you did not intend to abuse the service (for example mistyped passwords, retries, public Wi-Fi, schools, workplaces, VPNs, or shared carrier networks).

  • In-App User-to-User Gifts (allowed): When the gift feature is available, you may send Moon Tickets from your Alrawidream account to another Alrawidream account inside the app by that account's unique public display name. You cannot send tickets by typing an email address. This is the only permitted user-to-user ticket transfer. In-app gifts are final once completed, have no cash value, and may be confirmed by email to the sender and the recipient. Buying, selling, trading, gifting, or transferring tickets outside the app remains forbidden under the Moon Tickets policy.
  • Attempt Limit (3 tries / 15 minutes): For (a) creating an email-and-password account, (b) sending in-app Moon Tickets to another user, and (c) changing your password, you may start at most three (3) attempts in any rolling 15-minute period. Sign-up attempts are counted per email address and per network IP address. Gift and password attempts are counted against the signed-in account.
  • 24-Hour Feature Pause: Three (3) unsuccessful attempts in that window automatically pause that specific feature for twenty-four (24) hours. The pause lifts automatically when the time expires; you do not need to contact support. Other features generally remain available unless a separate control (such as an account freeze) applies. A feature pause is not an account deletion, not a content strike, and not a refund event (the service is free).
  • Transactional Email: We do not send an email when sign-up is rate-limited or paused. We may email you when an in-app Moon Ticket gift is sent (sender and recipient), when ticket gifting is paused for 24 hours, when a password change succeeds, when password changes are paused for 24 hours, when an account is paused for 24 hours after more than five Galaxy-publish edit notices, and when content is rejected for a community-standards strike or a third-strike account ban (the strike mail may include a short excerpt of the flagged text). These messages are security and transaction notices, not marketing.
  • Email Sign-Up Volume Caps (per IP): Successful new email-and-password accounts from the same public IP address are limited to fifteen (15) in any rolling 30 minutes (the 16th create is blocked) and fifty (50) in any rolling 24 hours. Two consecutive 30-minute windows each reaching 15 successful creates, or 50 successful creates in 24 hours, lock further email sign-up from that IP for 24 hours. After that lock ends, a further trip of the same caps may result in a permanent block on new email sign-ups from that IP.
  • Weekly email sign-up cap (75 / UTC week, separate): Independently of the 15/30-minute and 50/24-hour caps, successful email-and-password creates from the same public IP are limited to seventy-five (75) in a UTC calendar week (Monday 00:00 UTC through Sunday). On the 75th create in that week we refuse further email sign-ups from that IP for 24 hours and for the rest of that UTC week, and we may mark those week's accounts with an internal week-cap badge for operators (not a freeze, not a Red flag). If the same IP hits 75 in three consecutive UTC weeks, we may permanently refuse new email sign-ups from that IP. Existing accounts stay usable. Google or other OAuth sign-in is not counted toward this weekly cap or the 15/30 and 50/24-hour caps (Google has its own Google-law limits below). Resending a confirmation email is not counted as creating a new account.
  • Burst abuse firewall (5 events / 45 seconds): Separate from content strikes and from email sign-up caps. If the same public IP or the same email records five (5) moderation violations or abusive/bad requests in any rolling 45 seconds (for example rapid rejected posts or comments, or abusive calls to posting, comment, moderation-queue, or ticket-grant interfaces), we may block that email permanently on the first trigger and block that IP for 48 hours on the first trigger. A second trigger on the same IP may make the IP block permanent. While blocked, requests from that IP or email are refused early. This is not a content strike, not a Red-user freeze, and not account deletion. There is no in-app 'IP ban' setting; operators may review banned emails in the moderation tools. Shared networks can be affected, as with sign-up caps. You may request review at alrawidream@icloud.com within 14 days.
  • Journal-to-Galaxy ignore lock: If written journal text fails two-layer review, we show an in-app notice asking you to edit it to match the app's rules. If that notice is shown more than five (5) times because you keep trying to publish without the writing passing review, we freeze the account for twenty-four (24) hours. Tickets and posts are kept. The freeze lifts automatically. This is not a content strike and not account deletion. We may email the address on the account.
  • Existing Clean Accounts: Accounts that already existed on the same IP and were not created in the violating burst are not flagged, not frozen, and not signed out because of another person's sign-up volume on that network. The same is true for Google law: an existing Google account on a capped café or school IP can still sign in.
  • Google law (new Google accounts only, separate): Independently of email sign-up caps, first-time Google accounts on Alrawidream from the same public IP are limited to ten (10) in any rolling 30 minutes, twenty (20) in any rolling 24 hours, and thirty (30) in a UTC calendar week (Monday 00:00 UTC through Sunday). Returning Google users are not counted. We cannot refuse Google before the Google screen, so if a new Google account is created while that IP is over a cap we delete that new account immediately and refuse the session. Two consecutive 30-minute windows each reaching 10, or 20 in 24 hours, lock further new Google accounts from that IP for 24 hours and may mark those burst accounts with an internal Google-law badge (not a freeze, not a Red flag). A further trip of the same burst caps may permanently refuse new Google accounts from that IP. Hitting 30 in a UTC week refuses further new Google accounts from that IP for 24 hours and for the rest of that week, with the same badge. Three consecutive UTC weeks each hitting 30 may permanently refuse new Google accounts from that IP. Email-and-password creates are not counted toward Google law, and Google creates are not counted toward email caps.
  • Second Offense: If the same IP hits the sign-up caps again after a 24-hour unlock, we may permanently refuse new email sign-ups from that IP and freeze previously flagged Red accounts for an indefinite period. Stored data remains unless the account is separately deleted or terminated under these Terms. You may request a human review at alrawidream@icloud.com. An operator lift of an IP sign-up lock does not erase Red flags or historical security records.
  • Shared Networks: If you cannot create an account because a shared network already reached a cap, wait and try later, try a different network, or contact support. You acknowledge that access to registration or to a particular feature is not guaranteed. Alrawidream is not liable for delayed registration, inability to gift tickets, inability to change a password, missed activity, or other inconvenience caused by these controls, to the maximum extent permitted by law.
  • Circumvention: Evading these limits (including by rotating IP addresses, proxy/VPN hopping for that purpose, disposable identity farms, or coordinating others to create accounts for you) is a material breach and may result in immediate termination, IP blocks, and denial of new accounts.
  • Automated Processing & Appeals: These controls are applied automatically. They are separate from the three-strike content system in these Terms. You may appeal a freeze, IP lock, weekly email sign-up cap, Google-law lock, 48-hour or permanent abuse IP/email block, or feature pause to alrawidream@icloud.com within 14 days. We may grant, deny, or condition any lift at our sole discretion, including where we reasonably believe abuse is ongoing.
  • Changes to Limits: We may tighten, loosen, or otherwise change these numeric limits and related emails without prior individual notice when reasonably needed for security or operations. Material changes to this section will be reflected in the 'Last updated' date on this page. Continued use after an update constitutes acceptance.

5. USER CONDUCT & PROHIBITED CONTENT

You agree to use Alrawidream responsibly and lawfully. Section 5 rules are enforced on public Galaxy posts and comments. Private Journal writing and voice memos are not community-moderated while they stay Private. You remain fully responsible under applicable law for what you store there.

  • Hate Speech & Harassment: Content that attacks, threatens, demeans, or intimidates individuals or groups based on race, ethnicity, religion, gender, sexual orientation, disability, nationality, or other protected characteristics.
  • Violence & Radicalization: Content that incites violence, public disorder, illegal activities, terrorism, extremism, or radicalization.
  • Self-Harm: Content that promotes, glorifies, or provides instructions for self-harm, suicide, eating disorders, or severe psychological trauma.
  • Explicit or Graphic Material: Sexually explicit content, pornography, graphic gore, obscenity, or gratuitous violence.
  • Political & Government Criticism: Real-world political discussions, government criticism, or mocking of political figures are not permitted in dream posts or comments.
  • Scams & Harmful Superstition: Commercial fortune-telling, psychic readings, lottery scams, gambling schemes, lucky-number promotions, fear-mongering curses, or harmful financial/spiritual schemes.
  • Misinformation & Impersonation: Deliberately false information, impersonation of other users, public figures, or organizations, or coordinated manipulation.
  • Spam & Abuse: Repetitive posting, excessive self-promotion, automated bot activity, phishing, malware, or any conduct that disrupts the platform.
  • Unauthorized Data Collection: Scraping, harvesting, or collecting user data without consent, including using automated tools to extract content.
  • Threats & Doxxing: Posting personal information about others (doxxing), making threats, stalking, or engaging in any form of abuse.
  • Respect & Decency: Users must interact with courtesy and respect. Repeated hostile, trolling, or abusive behavior toward other users may result in suspension or ban.
  • Follows: You may follow other Alrawidream accounts. Follows are stored on your account (not only on this device). Unfollow or remove a follower at any time from Profile. Following is not an endorsement and creates no extra rights.
  • Galaxy Comments — Dream Author: If you published a public Galaxy post, you may delete any comment or reply on that post, including comments written by other users.
  • Galaxy Comments — Thread Removal: If you wrote a top-level comment on a public post, deleting that comment permanently removes every reply under it, including replies written by other users.
  • Private Journal — yours, your responsibility: Private Journal writing and voice recordings are your exclusive property while they remain Private. They belong to you. They are visible only to you and are never shown on public feeds, author profiles, search, or to other users. You bear full legal responsibility for every text entry and voice recording you store in the Private space of your own account, including content that is unlawful where you live. To the maximum extent permitted by law, Alrawidream accepts no civil or criminal liability for Private content you create and keep there.
  • Private Journal — storage and access: Private Journal files are stored separately from the public Galaxy feed. They are encrypted in transit (HTTPS/TLS) and at rest on our hosting infrastructure (Supabase standard encryption-at-rest). This is not end-to-end encryption with a key only you hold. The host still stores the encrypted files so the app can show them back to you. That is storage, not permission for staff or the moderator to open Private entries. Our personnel and moderation systems are not permitted to access, read, or listen to Private Journal writing or voice memos while they remain Private. Saving writing or voice does not run the two-layer AI scan. Administrator logins cannot browse Private Journal rows in the review dashboard. Voice memos cannot be published.
  • Private Journal — operating exceptions: Exceptions that match how the app actually runs: (1) If you choose Share to Galaxy or Publish with a Moon Ticket, only the written title, tag, and text are sent through the same two-layer review as public posts. The entry stays Private until both layers pass. A Moon Ticket is spent only if they pass. Voice is never included. (2) If a valid court order or other compulsory legal process requires production of stored files, we may produce them. That is not in-app moderation and does not give operators a dashboard to browse Private Journal. (3) Account deletion purges Private Journal from the App; independent providers may still keep copies on their own systems as described elsewhere in these documents.

6. AI & MANUAL MODERATION RIGHTS

To maintain community safety on the public Galaxy, Alrawidream uses automated AI systems and human review of public posts, comments, Reports, and Flags. Private Journal saves are not part of that review unless you share written text to Galaxy.

  • AI as a Safety Filter: We use a two-layer OpenAI system solely to scan, filter, and flag public Galaxy posts and comments, and written journal text only when you choose to publish it to Galaxy. Layer 1 (OpenAI Moderation API) covers general safety such as hate speech, harassment, explicit content, dangerous topics, self-harm, or sexual content involving minors. Layer 2 (gpt-4o-mini) covers Alrawidream custom rules: real-world politics or government criticism, financial/lottery scams, commercial fortune-telling, plus a second pass on self-harm/suicide and sexual content involving minors. The same stack also routes in-app Flags against published product rules (ANSWERED or UNSURE). Private Journal saves and voice memos are not scanned.
  • No AI Advice or Training: AI is used exclusively for automated content moderation, optional language translation of user posts, and Flag routing against published Terms. Alrawidream does NOT provide AI dream analysis, AI interpretations, AI consultations, or AI-generated advice. Canned in-app notices after a Flag is not a custom AI reply. AI is not used to train, fine-tune, or improve third-party models.
  • Pre-Publication Review: Direct Galaxy posts (including comments) enter an asynchronous moderation queue as 'PENDING' and are not shown in public feeds until approved. Private Journal writing and voice memos are not pre-screened. Sharing written journal text to Galaxy runs the same two-layer review first; the entry stays private until both layers pass. Voice memos cannot be published.
  • Immediate Removal: We may remove, hide, edit, or restrict public Galaxy posts, comments, and accounts that violate these Terms or pose a risk to community safety, without prior notice. This public-safety right does not authorize our personnel or moderation systems to open, read, or listen to Private Journal writing or voice memos while they remain Private.
  • User Content, Reporting & Blocking: Alrawidream has zero tolerance for objectionable, harassing, abusive, or illegal content. Users can report inappropriate content or block any user directly within the app. Reported content is reviewed promptly, and objectionable content or violating accounts will be acted upon or removed as soon as possible.
  • User Reporting: Signed-in users may Report a public Galaxy post that is already live via the in-app Report control on that post. A Report is about that post only. It is not sent to the person who posted. The same two-layer AI review used on Galaxy posts runs first. If that review clearly finds a Terms violation, we hide the post. That automatic hide does not record a content strike. If the review clearly finds no violation, the Report is closed, the post stays live, and this counts as False reporting against the reporter (see User Flagging). If the review is Unsure, the Report goes to a human operator queue. Operators may dismiss it (the post stays live, no strike) or confirm a violation: hide the post, record a content strike on the author's account, and email the author a warning that may include a short excerpt of the post. We do not automatically email the reporter. We aim to review Unsure Reports in a timely manner; we do not promise a fixed 24-hour deadline. Private Journal entries and posts still in AI review cannot be Reported this way.
  • User Flagging: Signed-in users may Flag only a serious account, strike, deletion, or other support issue from their own Profile. Flag is not a report of another user or of a Galaxy post. Spam, jokes, copy-paste, extra Moon Tickets, extra journal saves, or any unserious Flag is False reporting. The Flag text is checked against published product rules first. Unserious or already-covered Flags are closed automatically and count as False reporting. That close does not hide a post, does not apply or remove a Galaxy content strike, and does not delete the account. If the check is Unsure and the Flag still looks serious (strike or ban appeal, freeze, sign-in failure, a Profile delete that failed, legal), the Flag stays in a human operator queue. False reporting is a separate folder: nickname and a lifetime count. Count 1 and 2 record the name only. Count 3 pauses the account 24 hours (tickets and posts stay; the folder row stays). Count 6 locks the account permanently (data and the folder row stay). Report láo and Flag spam share that count. This is not the three-strike Galaxy content system. To report a live Galaxy post, use Report on that post. You may still email alrawidream@icloud.com.
  • Strike & Ban System: Violating content may result in an automated strike. We email the address on the account a warning with the current strike count (out of 3) and may include a short excerpt of the flagged text. Accumulating three (3) strikes may result in a permanent account ban, which we also email. That third strike bans the account only — it does not by itself ban the network IP. Rapid burst abuse is a separate control in Section 4 (5 events in 45 seconds: email block and 48-hour then permanent IP block). Bans are final unless successfully appealed.
  • Manual Review Rights: Alrawidream may manually review public Galaxy posts, comments, Reports, Flags, and account records, and may override automated decisions on that public path. Private Journal writing and voice memos are not opened for human or AI review while they remain Private.
  • No Duty to Pre-Screen: We run an automated two-layer AI review on Galaxy posts and comments, and on written journal text at the moment you try to publish it to Galaxy. Private Journal saves (writing and voice) are not pre-screened. Operators may review Unsure Reports and Unsure Flags and override decisions. We still have no legal obligation to catch every violation. Reporting a live Galaxy post triggers a second AI pass; Unsure Reports and Unsure Flags are extra human queues. That is not the only way content is reviewed or removed.
  • Appeals: If you believe your content or account was moderated in error, you may submit an appeal to alrawidream@icloud.com within 14 days for human review.

7. MOON TICKET PUBLISHING LIMITS & TICKETS POLICY

Public posting on Alrawidream is limited to maintain quality and community balance. Moon Tickets and all other in-app credits are strictly internal virtual items for use within the app only.

  • Cycle allowance: Each public Galaxy post costs 1 Moon Ticket. In the app this is labeled Cycle allowance: a number of tickets every 30 days, tied to your Cosmos Level. Unused tickets stay in your balance. About every 30 days from your last grant (your cycle), your balance becomes the greater of (a) the tickets you already have and (b) your current cycle allowance, so leftovers and in-app gifts stay. The next top-up does not wipe leftover tickets. Level up to raise your cycle (up to 5 tickets).
  • Private Journal quota: Each account may save 1 private journal write and 1 voice memo per week. Unused weeks bank up to 15 of each. Writing and voice are saved as separate entries: a written entry spends 1 weekly write, a voice memo spends 1 weekly voice. Voice memos exist only in the Private Journal and are never published. Sharing written journal text to Galaxy spends 1 Moon Ticket only if both review layers pass; if they do not, the entry stays private, no ticket is spent, and you are asked to edit it to match the app's rules. If that edit notice is shown more than 5 times because you keep publishing without passing review, the account is frozen for 24 hours (not a content strike). Saving to the journal is not a two-layer scan and does not itself apply a content strike.
  • Private Journal — yours, your responsibility: Private Journal writing and voice recordings are your exclusive property while they remain Private. They belong to you. They are visible only to you and are never shown on public feeds, author profiles, search, or to other users. You bear full legal responsibility for every text entry and voice recording you store in the Private space of your own account, including content that is unlawful where you live. To the maximum extent permitted by law, Alrawidream accepts no civil or criminal liability for Private content you create and keep there.

  • No Purchase of Tickets: Moon Tickets are earned by progression and activity, not purchased. Alrawidream does NOT sell tickets, and tickets cannot be bought, topped up, or exchanged for real money.
  • In-App Use Only: All Moon Tickets and other in-app credits are for in-app use only. They have no cash value, are not redeemable, and cannot be exchanged for real money, goods, or services outside the app.
  • No P2P Trading or External Sales: You are expressly forbidden from buying, selling, trading, gifting, or transferring tickets to other users or third parties outside the platform for real money, goods, services, or any other consideration.
  • Zero Liability for External Transactions: Alrawidream bears 100% zero liability for any user-to-user transactions, scams, chargebacks, financial disputes, or losses that occur outside the platform. Any account involved in unauthorized external ticket trading will be permanently banned.
  • Unused tickets stay: Unused Moon Tickets stay in your balance. A 30-day cycle top-up never deletes leftovers. It only raises your balance up to your cycle allowance if you currently have fewer tickets than that allowance.
  • Cosmos Level (separate from Quest Points): Public likes, comments, and related Galaxy activity can raise Cosmos Level (dream points). Cosmos Level sets your Moon Ticket cycle allowance and the Magic Wand unlock (Level 4). It is not the same counter as Quest Points.
  • Dream Quests & XP: Profile Dream Quests (daily, weekly, and milestones) award Quest XP for in-app actions such as likes, comments, wand casts, and streak windows. Completing a quest credits XP once. We store a convert wallet (spendable XP) and a lifetime XP total. Convert XP to Point spends only the wallet: 1,000 XP = 1 Quest Point. Convert is final. Quest Points cap at 100. Convert XP does not grant Moon Tickets or Wand Energy.
  • Convert Quest Points to Wand: Separate from Convert XP. You may spend Quest Points for Wand Energy: 5 QP = 1× 1h energy, 10 QP = 1× 3h energy, 15 QP = 1× 6h energy. Quantity is per type (for example 3× 1h costs 15 QP and adds 3 to the 1h column only). Convert subtracts spendable Quest Points (and the matching quest-points total). It does not spend XP, Moon Tickets, or Cosmos Level. Convert is final and has no cash value.
  • Streaks: Optional Night Owl and Early Bird time windows record time spent in the app for streak progress and related quests. Streaks are a revocable in-app privilege, not a paid benefit.

8. MAGIC WAND POLICY

The Magic Wand lets eligible members pin a live public Galaxy post to Top 1 of the Feed / Magic Wand Hub. The following rules govern its use:

  • Unlock: Cosmos Levels 1–3 cannot cast. The wand unlocks at Level 4. Cast spends Wand Energy, not an unlimited weekly allowance.
  • Wand Energy: The Magic Wand Hub shows three counts (1h, 3h, 6h). Each successful cast spends 1 energy of the type used and pins that duration. Convert Quest Points to Wand (Section 7) adds energy to the matching column (for example 1 + 1 = 2). Energy cannot be refunded, reversed, or moved to another post after a successful cast.
  • Which duration is used: When you cast, you choose 1h, 3h, or 6h from the energy you have. Each choice spends 1 energy of that type and pins for that duration. If you have no energy for the type you pick, the cast fails. Cosmos Level still describes the default perk row in the Hub (Level 4–8 = 1h, 9–12 = 3h, 13+ = 6h); it does not create unlimited casts.
  • Top 1 Removal: Alrawidream admin reserves the right to remove a Top 1 post from the Magic Wand Hub if it violates community standards, these Terms, or applicable law.
  • Ranking Order: Posts waved by the wand are ranked higher in the Feed / Magic Wand Hub. More recent wand interactions are placed above older ones.
  • No Manipulation: Users may not use automated scripts, multiple accounts, or coordinated actions to artificially inflate wand interactions. Violations may result in strikes, suspension, or ban.

9. USER CONTENT LICENSE & RIGHTS

By submitting content to Alrawidream, you retain ownership while granting us the rights needed to operate the platform.

  • Ownership: You retain exclusive ownership of your original dream text and voice recordings. Private Journal writing and voice recordings are your exclusive property while they remain Private. They belong to you. They are visible only to you and are never shown on public feeds, author profiles, search, or to other users.
  • Platform License (Galaxy): For content you publish to the public Galaxy, you grant us a worldwide, royalty-free, non-exclusive license to host, display, translate, distribute, and moderate that public content for operating the service.
  • Platform License (Private Journal): For Private Journal writing and voice memos, you grant us only the limited right to store the files on your account and to show them back to you. That license does not include public display, human review, or AI moderation while the entry remains Private. If you later share written text to Galaxy, the Galaxy license and two-layer review in Section 6 apply to that text only.
  • Original Work: You warrant that all submissions are your original creations or that you have all necessary rights to post them.
  • Unauthorized Recording Disclaimer: Alrawidream is not liable if third parties or other users screenshot, audio-record, screen-record, or reproduce your content outside the App without your consent.

10. INTELLECTUAL PROPERTY, DMCA & ANTI-SCRAPING

Respect for intellectual property is required at all times.

  • Trademark Protection: Unauthorized use, defamation, or exploitation of protected third-party trademarks, brand names, or logos within dream stories or profiles will result in immediate content deactivation.
  • DMCA Takedowns: Copyright holders can submit formal takedown notices to alrawidream@icloud.com. Valid requests will be processed within 72 hours.
  • Anti-Scraping: Users are strictly prohibited from scraping, screen-recording, audio-recording, or converting published dream content into text-to-speech, audiobooks, podcasts, or videos for external commercial or non-commercial use.

11. PRIVACY & DATA SECURITY

Your privacy is governed by our Privacy Policy. By using Alrawidream, you consent to the collection, storage, and processing described therein.

  • Data Storage: User data is stored securely on Supabase infrastructure protected by strict Row Level Security (RLS).
  • Private Journal — yours, your responsibility: Private Journal writing and voice recordings are your exclusive property while they remain Private. They belong to you. They are visible only to you and are never shown on public feeds, author profiles, search, or to other users. You bear full legal responsibility for every text entry and voice recording you store in the Private space of your own account, including content that is unlawful where you live. To the maximum extent permitted by law, Alrawidream accepts no civil or criminal liability for Private content you create and keep there.
  • Private Journal — storage and access: Private Journal files are stored separately from the public Galaxy feed. They are encrypted in transit (HTTPS/TLS) and at rest on our hosting infrastructure (Supabase standard encryption-at-rest). This is not end-to-end encryption with a key only you hold. The host still stores the encrypted files so the app can show them back to you. That is storage, not permission for staff or the moderator to open Private entries. Our personnel and moderation systems are not permitted to access, read, or listen to Private Journal writing or voice memos while they remain Private. Saving writing or voice does not run the two-layer AI scan. Administrator logins cannot browse Private Journal rows in the review dashboard. Voice memos cannot be published.
  • Private Journal — operating exceptions: Exceptions that match how the app actually runs: (1) If you choose Share to Galaxy or Publish with a Moon Ticket, only the written title, tag, and text are sent through the same two-layer review as public posts. The entry stays Private until both layers pass. A Moon Ticket is spent only if they pass. Voice is never included. (2) If a valid court order or other compulsory legal process requires production of stored files, we may produce them. That is not in-app moderation and does not give operators a dashboard to browse Private Journal. (3) Account deletion purges Private Journal from the App; independent providers may still keep copies on their own systems as described elsewhere in these documents.
  • Idle sign-out: A signed-in session on your device ends after 10 minutes without interaction. You must sign in again. This is a device-side privacy control, not account deletion. Details are in the Privacy Policy.
  • Diary passcode: Optional 4-digit Diary Passcode Lock is stored only on this device (a salted hash in the browser). We never receive the digits. Forgot Passcode clears that lock on this device; it does not email the code.
  • Security Limitations: While we implement standard encryption and security measures, we cannot guarantee 100% security against all cyberattacks or data breaches.

12. LEADERBOARD PRIVACY

Alrawidream gives you control over how your identity appears on the public leaderboard.

  • Incognito Mode: When Leaderboard Privacy is turned ON in your Profile settings, your User ID and identity are hidden from the public Cosmic Leaderboard.
  • Anonymous Display: When Incognito is ON, your leaderboard row is labeled 'Incognito Dreamer 🥷' with an anonymous default avatar. That label is what appears on the list — including on the row you see for yourself. Other users never see your nickname.
  • Your own row (every signed-in user): On the Cosmic Leaderboard, only you see your own rank row highlighted more strongly than other rows (bold type and a distinct highlight). That cue is private to your session. It works whether Leaderboard Privacy is ON or OFF. When Incognito is ON, the highlighted row still shows 'Incognito Dreamer', not your nickname; the highlight is how you find yourself. Other users do not see your highlight.
  • Weekly rank freeze: Public Cosmic Leaderboard ranks are a weekly snapshot. The board is refreshed every Monday at about 00:05 UTC. Rank numbers you see on the list stay frozen until the next Monday refresh. Your live points and Cosmos Level in Profile may still change during the week.
  • No Re-identification: We do not reveal the real user behind an Incognito Dreamer row to the public or to other users.

13. LIMITATION OF LIABILITY & MEDICAL DISCLAIMER

Alrawidream is for entertainment, creative journaling, and community discussion only. It is not a medical, psychological, or professional service.

  • Entertainment & Journaling Only: Content on Alrawidream is for recreational, creative, and personal journaling purposes only. It does NOT constitute professional psychological, psychiatric, medical, therapeutic, or life advice.
  • No Professional Relationship: Using Alrawidream does not create a doctor-patient, therapist-client, attorney-client, or any other professional relationship between you and Alrawidream or any other user.
  • Peer-to-Peer Content: All insights, opinions, and replies come from other human users and represent their individual views, not expert guidance.
  • No Reliance: You should not rely on any content within Alrawidream for diagnosis, treatment, legal decisions, or major life decisions. Always seek qualified professional advice for such matters.
  • No Liability for Private Journal content: You bear full legal responsibility for every text entry and voice recording you store in the Private space of your own account, including content that is unlawful where you live. To the maximum extent permitted by law, Alrawidream accepts no civil or criminal liability for Private content you create and keep there.
  • Liability Cap: To the maximum extent permitted by law, Alrawidream and its affiliates shall not be liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, consequential, or punitive damages. Our total aggregate liability is strictly limited to the amount you directly paid to Alrawidream in the 12 months preceding the claim, or $0 USD if you used the app for free.
  • No Liability for Security Controls: To the maximum extent permitted by law, we are not liable for delays, denials, pauses, freezes, sign-outs, or permanent IP sign-up blocks applied under Section 4, including effects on shared networks or mistaken retries.
  • Exclusion of Indirect Expenses: We accept no financial liability for third-party or indirect expenses, including internet/broadband fees, cellular charges, hardware costs, banking fees, opportunity costs, or lost time/wages.
  • AS IS Basis: The service is provided without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including but not limited to warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, or non-infringement.

14. ACCOUNT TERMINATION, FREEZES & RESTRICTIONS

Alrawidream reserves the right to suspend, restrict, freeze, rate-limit, or terminate accounts and access to the service at any time, with or without notice, including under Section 4.

  • Freeze vs Termination: A 24-hour or indefinite account freeze under Section 4 is a temporary or ongoing bar on using the app while data and entitlements are kept. It is not account deletion. A feature pause (sign-up, gifting, or password change) blocks only that feature. A 48-hour or permanent burst-abuse IP or email block under Section 4 refuses requests from that network or mailbox; it is not the same as a Red-user freeze or a three-strike account ban. Termination and deletion remain separate actions described below.
  • Termination by User: You may delete your account at any time from the in-app Profile screen or by contacting alrawidream@icloud.com. Account deletion is permanent and irreversible.
  • Termination by Alrawidream: We may suspend or terminate any account for violations of these Terms, repeated moderation strikes, abusive behavior, fraudulent or bulk registration, evasion of rate limits or freezes, underage use (under 18), or any activity that harms the platform or other users.
  • Immediate Effect: Termination may take effect immediately upon discovery of a violation, without prior warning.
  • Data Deletion on Termination: Upon termination or when you delete your account, Alrawidream does not keep any of your account, 18+ confirmation record, Private Journal, posts, comments, likes, files, or other in-app records of you. Those items are purged from the App. Copies that third-party providers may keep on their own systems are outside the App; to the maximum extent permitted by law, Alrawidream is not responsible for those third-party copies.
  • No Data Backup: We do not guarantee permanent storage of your content. Users are solely responsible for keeping local backups of their dreams, journals, and comments.
  • No Refunds: Because the service is free, no refunds or compensation are owed upon termination.
  • Appeal Process: If you believe your account was terminated, frozen, or restricted in error, you may submit an appeal to alrawidream@icloud.com within 14 days for human review.
  • Post-Termination Restrictions: Terminated users may not create new accounts without explicit written permission from Alrawidream. Permanent IP sign-up blocks and burst-abuse IP or email blocks may continue to apply to the network or mailbox used for abuse regardless of a particular account's deletion.

15. INDEMNIFICATION

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Alrawidream from claims arising from your use of the service.

  • You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless Alrawidream and its operators from any claims, damages, liabilities, costs, or expenses arising from your content (including Private Journal text and voice memos), your conduct, your violation of these Terms, your circumvention of security or rate-limit controls, or your infringement of any third-party rights.
  • Age Misrepresentation: You bear all responsibility if you provide false or inaccurate registration information, including your age. Anyone who misrepresents a user's age agrees to indemnify and hold harmless Alrawidream from any legal claims, fines, or damages resulting from that misrepresentation.

16. MANDATORY ARBITRATION & CLASS ACTION WAIVER

Any dispute arising out of or relating to Alrawidream will be resolved through binding arbitration rather than court proceedings.

  • Individual Arbitration: You agree that any dispute, claim, or controversy will be settled solely by binding, individual arbitration.
  • Class Action Waiver: YOU AND ALRAWIDREAM AGREE THAT EACH MAY BRING CLAIMS AGAINST THE OTHER ONLY IN YOUR OR ITS INDIVIDUAL CAPACITY, AND NOT AS A PLAINTIFF OR CLASS MEMBER IN ANY PURPORTED CLASS OR REPRESENTATIVE PROCEEDING.

17. GOVERNING LAW & SEVERABILITY

These Terms are governed by applicable law and designed to remain enforceable even if parts are invalidated.

  • These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws applicable in your operating jurisdiction, without regard to conflict of law principles.
  • If any provision of these Terms is found to be invalid or unenforceable, the remaining provisions shall remain in full force and effect.
